In my last tutorial post, I showed you how to get a resolution. Now we will start editing basics. Throughout this little series, I will be making a new background for my desktop. Lets start by getting a cool background layout.
Step 1: Open your pohotoshop and get a new template.
Step 2: Select a color as your main background, you can do this by selecting the paint bucket tool and choosing the color you would like. After that, click your base and you will get your color!
Step 3: Select your brush tool and select a new "brush type". The selecter is located at the top left of the screen. Choose the fading cicle, and make it large in pixel size. This will help fill up a good chunk of the screen.
Step 4: Select a new brush color.
Step 5: Click click click! Click a few times on your background (with a new layer made) and cover up some spots. Don't cover up the whole screen , or it won't turn out right.
Step 6: Make a new layer, and select on the top bar "filter" and scroll down to "render". Select the clouds render, and turn down the opacity a little, to about 50 or 60 percent.
You are done! I will get to further editing in later episodes. Hope tihs helped!
